Dahlov Ipcar's Creative Growth in MoMA
The Museum of Modern Art just went through an extensive renovation not only of their physical space, but of their website too. Dahlov Ipcar’s Creative Growth, her first art show at the age of 21, is now featured on the MoMA Through Time online timeline.
Creative Growth: Childhood to Maturity opened at MoMA in 1939, and it was the first solo art show in the museum to feature a woman artist. This exhibit showcased Dahlov’s artwork from the age of three through her young adulthood at 21. You can read more about it on MoMA’s website.
