Jurassic Park Dinosaur Artist Shannon Shea On Dahlov's Influence
We were delighted to receive some fan mail from Shannon Shea recently. You might not know his name, you will definitely know his work. With over 30 years of experience, Shea has had a hand in the special effects department for movies such as Predator, Terminator 2, Batman Returns and Jurassic Park. In his email to us, Shannon spoke of Dahlov’s influence on his design aesthetic, specifically on how much he loved The Wonderful Egg:
“‘The Wonderful Egg’ was one of the cornerstones of my life-long love of dinosaurs and I am happy to own a reprint that I review ever so often when I am world-weary or want to reconnect with that inner child her work so inspired.”
